Wouldn't be here today...
If the old school didn't pave the way...
Rocco’s® Cafe & Delicatessen prepared foods apply old world family recipes passed down four generations.
The Rocco's® family saga began four generations ago, when Guiseppe Rocco, a young immigrant from Roma Italia, came to the shores of America through Ellis Island. With only two Lira in his pocket - but a fist full of dreams - Guiseppe soon settled in New York's Little Italy, where the first Rocco's Cafe & Deli was born. After a few years, Guiseppe Rocco and his family moved further north, first to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, then the city of White Plains, and lastly to Pocantico Hills where his grandson Anthony Rocco opened 'Briarcliff Seafood & Meats' while also serving on the weekends as Personal Caterer to the Rockefeller Family. Since then Rocco's® Cafe & Delicatessen has proudly grown into Western Connecticut's premier source for authentic, homemade Italian & American cuisine. Rocco's® latest iteration is located on Greenwood Avenue in Bethel.
